'I Was Reborn' | Feminism & Feeling Your Oats with Ida Sanguine – The Invisible Cabaret Podcast: Mental Health & The Arts
Burlesque siren/ Norwegian nymph/ Invisible troupe member Ida Sanguine joins hosts Ferrero Rochelle & Rosie Verbose to talk about creativity and mental health (as always). Among other things, the friends chat about the origins of Ida’s burlesque career, her ‘knack for sensual movement,’ being a performer in lockdown, and the Law of Jante…

You can find Ida on Facebook, and on Instagram as @idasanguine.
Are you an artist (of any description) with a mental health story to tell? Email invisiblecabaret@gmail.com for more details about how to be a future guest on the podcast.
So much of what we view as sexy, and has been sexy for as long as we can remember… it’s always been about the focus of what does the man find sexy in a woman? When you try to be sexy, without even knowing it, you’re probably doing something that you literally are subconsciously just doing, because you know that that’s what a guy will find sexy. So for me, every time, it’s about figuring out a way to take that power back. It’s not about you who’s watching. It’s not about you! It’s not about what you want from me, what I can offer you. It’s about what I have, what I love and what I enjoy, and allowing myself to share that.
Ida Sanguine
