Invisible Cabaret is a burlesque and vaudeville variety troupe centred around mental health awareness. Through song, dance, comedy, striptease and much more, this edgy young troupe seeks to open new conversations about mental health.

Invisible Cabaret debuted in the glamorous King’s Head Private Members Club in Shoreditch, funded by a Kickstarter campaign which exceeded its initial targets. Since then, the troupe have gone from strength to strength, playing sold-out shows around London to wide audience acclaim.

As always, Invisible Cabaret is always on the look out for singers, dancers, burlesquers, spoken word artists, comedians, musicians, variety acts (hula hoopers, poi professionals, diabolo divas, etc.!) who are passionate about advocating for greater mental health awareness.

We are especially interested in hearing from: burlesque artists, keyboard players, drag artistes.  The troupe is currently all-female, but all genders are welcome at auditions!

  1. Always heart-warming to hear that people are able to discuss mental health rather than keep the experience hidden due to shame!
The taboo and stigma around mental health issues needs to be challenged everywhere, every day x
